THE EXHIBITION CENTER

MIDA also gives you the opportunity to discover Florence and its artistic beauties, starting right from the Fortezza da Basso, a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture.
Built during the first half of 16th century for the Medici family to control the city, today it is the main venue of the Florence congress and exhibition center.
HOW TO ARRIVE
Firenze offers you many opportunities
Given the size of the ZTL (restricted traffic zone in the city centre), active from 7:30 to 20:00 (Mondays to Fridays), and from 7:30 to 16:00 (on Saturdays), it is recommended to consider the car parks located in close proximity to Firenze Fiera: Fortezza Fiera Car Park (piazzale Caduti nei Lager) and Stazione Santa Maria Novella Car Park, located under the central railway station and open 24/7.

LEAVE YOUR CAR, CATCH THE TRAMWAY!
The Villa Costanza Car Park is a car-tramway parking lot. You can access it directly from the A1 motorway thanks to a dedicated exit between Scandicci and Impruneta, coming both from north and south. You can park your car and access the terminus of the T1 tramway line connecting Scandicci to the Florence city centre.

From Florence
The Florence International Airport ‘Amerigo Vespucci’, (IATA code: FLR) is 4 km from the city centre and it can be easily reached by catching the T1 Leonardo tramway line, connecting the airport to the central railway station of Santa Maria Novella and to the Florence city centre in just 15/20 minutes. Thanks to connections with Rome Fiumicino, Milan Malpensa and all the main European capitals (Amsterdam, Barcelona, London, Frankfurt, Madrid, Munich, Paris, Vienna, Zurich), Florence is well connected with the rest of the world. From Pisa
The International Pisa Airport (IATA code: PSA) is 80 km from the Florence city centre and is connected to the Tuscan capital by train (with departures every hour) and Terravision coaches. From Bologna
Following improvements in the “Freccia Rossa” railway line, connecting Florence and Bologna in just 35 minutes, the Bologna Airport (IATA code: BLQ) also represents an easily accessible airport to reach the city of Florence.
